(Sunday Salad #24)

Follow-ups, flashbacks, rarities & oddities

Sunday SaladThis is the second song I received from TRAILS AND WAYS. I still don’t know for sure if their music belongs to the singer-songwriter category, although I define the term rather loosely. But I trust they know what they are doing when they click “Share Track”. They certainly do when they make music.

A beautifully sincere (or sincerely beautiful) voice, Angus Stone. (via Troysnoise

A somewhat experimental piece by Julia Holter with hypnotic qualities.

Another track by one of my personal favorites, Mesita. He doesn’t disappoint.

I know nothing about Mary Anna Doe. I was sent a song. I looked around the web and found a playlist of very basic lyrics videos, that’s all. And it’s so refreshing!

This song by Emily Wells grabbed my attention in an instant. It has such a strong aura it’s inescapable. (via Mp3 Hugger)

Emily Barker‘s singing is breathtakingly raw sometimes.

Finally, this is how Sufjan Stevens prepares for Christmas.
