The recipe of dream pop

Take a punk-at-heart singer-songwriter with a breathy voice. Or take two. Add tons of reverb and a thick layer of synths. Mix it with a gen­er­ous amount of end­lessly repeat­ing, throb­bing per­cus­sion. Finally, top it off with some mys­tery by throw­ing in a few uniden­ti­fi­able sam­ples, and not releas­ing any pho­tos of the per­form­ers except for a child­hood portrait.
