Edwin Miles sounds like someone who’s played on every open mic event in Manchester at least a dozen times. Refined and tested again and again, I imagine his set evolving from promising to awesome in front of an enthusiastic crowd of happy pub dwellers.
That’s what it takes to become such a rock solid performer like he is now. His playing is extremely skillful and creative, his singing is fireproof. I don’t see how he (or anyone) could be much better in his current genre. Maybe it’s time for big time.
